City of Meridian Accepting Applications for Transportation Commission

MERIDIAN, ID – The City of Meridian is currently accepting applications from individuals interested in serving on the Meridian Transportation Commission. The deadline to apply is Friday, April 18, 2025, by 5:00 p.m.
 
The Meridian Transportation Commission advises City leaders on roads, transit corridors, bike lanes, sidewalks, pathways, and lighting projects for the advancement of safe, efficient, and multi-modal transportation needs for the City. It is comprised of up to nine voting members who are appointed to serve three-year terms. Its members generally meet on the first Monday  of each month at 3:30 p.m. at Meridian City Hall. Members of this group serve on a voluntary basis and receive no financial compensation. In addition to the application, a letter of interest and resume should be submitted with the completed application. Applications can be submitted online or delivered to Mayor Simison at Meridian City Hall, 33 E. Broadway Avenue, Meridian, ID., 83642. All applications should be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 11, 2025The successful applicant, who must reside within Meridian’s city limits or its area of impact, will be appointed by Mayor Simison and confirmed by the Meridian City Council.
