MERIDIAN, ID – The City of Meridian invites local media and neighborhood residents to a public art dedication at Chateau Park, featuring three new sculptural pieces by local artist and sculptor Ken McCall. The pollinator and native flower-themed pieces are part of the City of Meridian's ongoing efforts to make its City parks more distinctive and inviting through the installation of themed public art.

Neighbors and their families are invited to join in the celebration with a free, hands-on, Earth Day-themed craft provided by the Treasure Valley Community Garden Cooperative during the event. Brief dedication speeches will begin at 4:30. The artist will be in attendance, as will Meridian Mayor Robert Simison, Meridian Parks and Recreation Director Steve Siddoway, and Meridian Arts & Culture Coordinator Cassandra Schiffler. Several members of the Meridian Arts Commission and the Meridian Parks and Recreation Commission will also be in attendance.
